Tangierine Cafe Review

Before I get on with today's tip and story, I have an announcement! In case you don't follow me on twitter, DRBF and I went to St. Louis for Spring Break and HE PROPOSED! So, he is now my DRF and I will update the site accordingly. On the left is a photo of my ring! :)

Chicken Schwarma

Tip #2: Pick Restaurants You Think DR Would Like

As I mentioned in the last post, I had the joy of touring WDW with DRF in January. When it came to picking a CS restaurant for dinner at EPCOT, I had the idea to try a restaurant that I had never been to. DRF recently discovered a love of Middle Eastern food, so when I suggested the Tangierine Cafe he was on board when some other people would've been weary.

Chicken Wrap

DRF had the Chicken Schwarma which he liked but it wasn't exactly what he was used to. It came with hummus, tabbouleh, tangerine couscous, and fresh Moroccan bread.

I had the Chicken Wrap which is served with the tangerine couscous and a lentil salad. I really liked this sandwich and I thought it would be a good for a picky eater.

Overall, I thought this restaurant was not as scary as people assume it to be. While it wasn't as authentic as DRF was expecting it to be, it was a good meal. It was a nice evening so we were able to sit outside and people watch while we ate.

If you enjoyed this restaurant review, check out my food blog at eatingmichigan.blog.com! And I am still looking for domain name suggestions. Just leave a comment with your idea and if I choose it you will win a yet-to-be-determined Disney-related prize (I'm thinking Vinylmation)!
