Tangierine Cafe Review

Before I get on with today's tip and story, I have an announcement! In case you don't follow me on twitter, DRBF and I went to St. Louis for Spring Break and HE PROPOSED! So, he is now my DRF and I will update the site accordingly. On the left is a photo of my ring! :)

Chicken Schwarma

Tip #2: Pick Restaurants You Think DR Would Like

As I mentioned in the last post, I had the joy of touring WDW with DRF in January. When it came to picking a CS restaurant for dinner at EPCOT, I had the idea to try a restaurant that I had never been to. DRF recently discovered a love of Middle Eastern food, so when I suggested the Tangierine Cafe he was on board when some other people would've been weary.

Chicken Wrap

DRF had the Chicken Schwarma which he liked but it wasn't exactly what he was used to. It came with hummus, tabbouleh, tangerine couscous, and fresh Moroccan bread.

I had the Chicken Wrap which is served with the tangerine couscous and a lentil salad. I really liked this sandwich and I thought it would be a good for a picky eater.

Overall, I thought this restaurant was not as scary as people assume it to be. While it wasn't as authentic as DRF was expecting it to be, it was a good meal. It was a nice evening so we were able to sit outside and people watch while we ate.

If you enjoyed this restaurant review, check out my food blog at eatingmichigan.blog.com! And I am still looking for domain name suggestions. Just leave a comment with your idea and if I choose it you will win a yet-to-be-determined Disney-related prize (I'm thinking Vinylmation)!

Hi There! Hello! Welcome!

Hello and welcome to the very first post in my new blog: How to Convert a Disney Resister! In this blog I will chronicle my love of Disney, specifically the journey to convert my Disney Resistant Boyfriend (DRBF)! Want to know more about me? Check out my about page!

One of the things I want to do with this blog is to start out each post with a tip. So here goes! Tip #1: Let the Disney Resister (henceforth known as DR) See How Much You Love Disney!

I had the opportunity to take DRBF to the Most Magical Place on Earth in early January. Granted we only got to spend one day in the parks (the purpose of the trip was the Capital One Bowl, more on that later) but we got to enjoy it together! We rode the rides, ate some delicious food, and took in the atmosphere together; It was perfect. He even indulged my neurotic photography.

At the end of the night, after watching IllumiNations, I asked him what was his favorite part of the day. He said the rides were great but he really enjoyed seeing how happy it made me. (*sigh* so sweet, right?)

So, I figure this is my jumping off point. He may think talking to other Disney fans on the internet is crazy (You should've seen how he reacted when I told him about Generation Mouse...) but at least he sees how important WDW is to me and maybe, someday, I can make him feel the same way about it that I do...and that is what this blog is for.

CONTEST (Has this ever been done? Contest on the first post?)
I am trying to figure out a domain name for this puppy. While htcadr.blogspot.com is catchy (this is sarcasm, it took me three tries to type it correctly just now) I want to register a domain and howtoconvertadisneyresister.com seems too long. So, leave your suggestions in the comments (with your email address so I can contact you) and if I choose yours you will win a small prize that has yet to be determined. Good luck and thanks for doing the thinking for me :)
